A HISTORY...
This is the story of the Institution des Invalides de la Légion étrangère, founded in 1953 to care for wounded legionnaires. True to their tradition as builders, the legionnaires continued to develop this place, which has since welcomed former legionnaires.
Today, the Foreign Legion continues to keep this institution alive, upholding one of the founding principles of legionnaire SOLIDARITY:
"You never abandon your own, neither in combat nor in life."

A TERROIR...
Like a beacon over the Aix region, the Sainte-Victoire mountain rises, majestic and mineral.
This land offers the vine an exceptional terroir, thanks to its poor, stony soils, its privileged sunshine and the drying power of the mistral wind. This allows for the production of highly expressive wines, considered among the most natural in France. The vineyard's 40 hectares fall under the Côtes de Provence appellation d'origine contrôlée.

HVE Level 3 certification is proof of the work carried out and of the estate's commitment to continuously improving its environmental performance.

Today, the Institution is home to around a hundred residents and strives to preserve each one's dignity, offering them the opportunity to contribute to the community.
Among the occupational activities, winegrowing provides the more able-bodied residents with teamwork in which everyone has their rightful place.

Having become winegrowers, these former legionnaires bring to viticulture their tradition, their devotion to the mission, and their love of a job well done. They are proud to present the "Esprit de Corps" cuvées, with rich and varied notes across all three colours.

A generous, powerful wine with a nose of candied red and black fruits and a long, spicy palate.

ESPRIT DE CORPS WHITE
A wine built on freshness, with notes of white flowers and a hint of minerality.

ESPRIT DE CORPS ROSÉ
A lively, elegant wine with notes of peach and apricot, along with citrus tones.
