The terroir, the Cru's first signature

The character of the AOP Côtes de Provence Cru Sainte-Victoire rests on a rare balance between relief, climate, soils, grape varieties and know-how. Each of these elements helps shape wines with an immediately recognizable identity.

  • The Sainte-Victoire Mountain
A true emblem of the territory, the mountain naturally protects the vineyard. Its relief influences the climate, shapes the landscapes and fully contributes to the identity of the Cru.
  • A Climate of Freshness
Protected from maritime influences by the reliefs of Sainte-Victoire, Mont Aurélien and Sainte-Baume, the vineyard enjoys a Mediterranean climate with continental nuances. The wide temperature swings slow the ripening of the grapes and preserve all their aromatic freshness.
  • Limestone Soils
The stony, perfectly drained soils offer the vine ideal conditions to express the full precision of the terroir. They contribute to the finesse, balance and elegance of the wines.
  • Emblematic Grape Varieties
Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault make up the signature of the rosés. Grenache and Syrah dominate the reds. Each grape variety finds here a singular expression thanks to the characteristics of the terroir and the know-how of the winegrowers.
