Château l'Anticaille

Frédéric et Jean-Claude Feraud

domaine
Trets

At the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, the FERAUD family has passionately preserved its 40-hectare terroir for 5 generations.
L'Anticaille takes its name from a Provençal farandole dance that the people of Trets would come to dance to celebrate the end of the harvest.
A place well worth discovering!

Château l'Anticaille is far more than just a wine estate; it is a family story that has been unfolding since the late 19th century. Passed down from generation to generation, the estate has preserved its authenticity and heritage while evolving with the times. After the devastating frost of 1956, the estate turned exclusively to winegrowing, a choice that marked the start of a new era. In 2012, Frédéric Feraud, driven by an unwavering passion for the land and for wine, took over the family estate. A former lawyer, he brings a modern, innovative vision while respecting age-old traditions. His commitment and love for the terroir are reflected in every bottle produced at Château l'Anticaille.

"Every day, I have the good fortune to gaze upon the most beautiful view in the world from my estate. This breathtaking view of the Sainte-Victoire mountain inspires my daily work and my passion for wine. Through my travels, I gained an open-mindedness that drove me to fully commit to our winegrowing heritage. Today, I am honoured to work at the heart of this magnificent, sun-drenched region with its generous nature. It is this generosity of the terroir that I wish to share through the wines we produce at Château l'Anticaille."
